In their opening match PNE Youths drew 0-0 with Aileach but lost 3-2 on penalties.
In their second match a few hours later they played for third position against Derry City. The match finished 2-2 with goals from Matt Dudley and Michael McLellen but suffered defeat again when Derry City scored all their penalties to win 4-3.
