The reserves this year are being used as a development squad with youth coaches Jamie Hoyland and Dean Ramsdale taking charge. No firt team squad members were anywehre nearthe pitch and it was a chance for the youngsters to shine.

The match was played at Irongate and goals for Dougan, Collins and an own goal from Murphy which sealed North End's victory.
