Still without Danny Dichio, who's concussion is set to sideline him further, Toronto FC welcomed the visit of San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday following the 1-0 friendly defeat to Independiente hoping to get their first win in eight games. Sadly for Toronto this run continued to nine games as the game ended in a 0-0 draw at BMO Field in front of 20,000+.

With no more news on the Brian McBride saga, it seems as though both Toronto and Chicago are both playing hard ball and are going to let this one drag on further. The player himself will want to get this sorted as soon as possible as he will have not played since May when he last turned out for Fulham.
