Ex Preston and Burnley player Ronnie Jepson was given the sack at Gillingham after a poor start to the season - comparable to that at Deepdale. Jepson has lost five out of the last six as Gills manager and infamous chairman Paul Scally felt Jepson coul dhandle the task no more.
