It was on 9 February 2010 when he got his first game in the Championship as Sheffield Wednesday beat Blackpool 2-0.

The 2010/11 he had the joint highest number of red cards with 13.

His last match was a 3-1 victory for MK Dons at Notts County on 11 March. His last Sheffield United was a 2-1 home defeat against Gillingham on 16 November 2013.
