Charles Breakspear was promoted to the national list this summer after a spell officiating in the Football Conference. His first fixture this season was York City's 1-0 home win against Northampton Town in League Two on 3 August 2013.
He showed five yellow cards and also sent-off Northampton and ex PNE midfielder Darren Carter for a second bookable offence in the 74th minute.
His last match on 16 November saw Oxford defeat Mansfield 3-1 as the Stags were reduced to 10 men with the dismissal of McGuire on the 23rd Minute.
This will be his first match involving Preston or Crawley.
