Russell grants a visit to Exeter.

Mike Russell stared referring in the 1990’s and progressed via the South Midlands League.

 

He joined the National List of assistant referees in 2000 before being promoted to the referees List in 2004 with his first match being a 3-1 win for Scunthorpe at home toRochdaleon 7 August 2004.

 

He is also a licensed FA coach.

His last game was Leicester’s 3-1 victory over Birmingham on 13 March.

 

His previous Exeter match was a 2-2 home draw against Bristol Rovers last season which saw Exeter reduced to ten men when Richard Duffy was sent off after 48 minutes.
