Rob Shoebridge started refereeing when he was 13 years of age and progressed through the Central Midlands and Northern Premier Leagues to reach the National List of assistant referees in 2003. Was an assistant referee on the 2006 FA Youth Cup Final, and refereed England v Turkey at U19 level in 2006.
He joined the National List of Referees for the 2006/07 season and took charge of his first Coca-Cola league match on 8 August 2006 as Walsall defeated Stockport 2-0.
In his last match he produced is first red card of the season to Jeff Golding of Bournemouth, who had only come on as a sub a minute earlier, in the 3-2 defeat at Grimsby.
His last Watford match was on 9 November 2008 in a 3-1 defeat at Swansea which saw the Hornets receive four of the six yellow cards produced that day.

Roger East joined the National List of assistant referees in 2000 before his promotion, in 2007, to the National List of referees. His first match as Referee was a 3-3 draw between Macclesfield and MK Dons on 18 August 2007.
His last Palace match was a 2-0 defeat at Leicester on 2 October 2009. Whilst his last game was also in the Championship as Watford drew 1-1 at home to Middlesbrough.
