Webb spinning again

 David Webb got involved in refereeing when he took a refereeing course after seeing an advertisement in a football programme and via talking to referees when he was playing local football.

  

He was promoted to the National List of Referees at the start of the 2008/09 season and took charge of his first football league match on 9 August 2008 as Bury beatBradford1-0. His first Championship match was at Deepdale with a 2-0 victory of Darren Ferguson’sPeterborough.

  

His last match was a 2-2 draw between Huddersfield and Rochdale on 10 March.

 

 

 

His previous match involving Tranmere was on 22 January 2011 when Rovers beat promotion bound Southampton 2-0 at Prenton Park.
