This will be his tenth match of the season and has and produced 24 yellow and 2 red cards so far. Although only three of these were Championship matches which produced just 4 of the 24 yellows. His last match was the Blackpool v Cardiff tie on 4th October.

He is a regular visiter to Deepdale having been the referee on Boxing Day 2007 in the defeat against Scunthope and the referee in the 3-1 victory over Southampton in March 2007. He was the referee three time in the 2005/06 season with a 3-0 win against Hull in October 2005 and a 0-0 draw against Plymouth in March 2006 as well as the 3-0 victory at Norwich on 2 January 2006.
