After relegation last season how are you settling into life back in the Championship?
It has been an steady start with points on the board but we could still get a lot more out of the players than what we are currently seeing.
Do you feel the pressure of being favourites to be promoted this season?
No, the squad we have is more than capable of promotion and I believe we will finish in the top two this season. We have great cover for when we do get injuries and this is what will tell at the end of the season in May.
Do you think your Premiership experiences will prove valuable this season?
I do think that Premiership experiences will have a big impact on us this season but in games we have not showed it as well as we could have done which in the end will make or break our season.
Who should we look out for in your side this Tuesday evening?
West Bromwich Albion is full of really good players for this level. Paul Robinson at left back is the tough nut of the squad and should not be messed with. In the midfield there is Zoltan Gera and Jason Koumas making his return and the strike partnership of Hartson and Kevin Phillips will have to be watched closely as they are two great strikers with plenty of experience between them. Also watch out for Darren Carter. He has had a lot of critics over the past few years and now has proven his worth by putting in a 100% every game so far this season.
Would it constitute a failure for you if you failed to get promotion?
Of course yes, with high expectations connected with the club but saying that the squad we have is more than capable of winning the Championship.
Do you feel that you are one of several big sides in a small pond or not?
I do think we are a big side in a small pond in the Championship but on the other hand, we are a very small fish in a big pond in the Premiership.
Will Bryan Robson still be in charge come what may by the end of the season?
No. The fans are already starting to turn on him, Negative tactics with a side that can take on any team in the division is not what the fans are paying to see. All waits is for the board to do the honours and sack him.
Finally a prediction for Tuesday's game.
With both sides winning their previous games, it should be an intense game. Both sides are hoping for promotion this year but I think West Bromwich Albion will knick it on the basis of their quality and experience. Preston North End 1-2 West Bromwich Albion.
