The forward made his debut for the Irons in the 1982/83 season as a substitute for Andy Keeley in the 2-1 win at Chester on 14 May 1983. His second and final appearance for Scunthorpe was in the 1983/84 season when he wore the number nine shirt in the 6-1 home defeat to Southend on 30 September 1983.
Snow then moved to non-league clubs Arnold Town in 1984 and Sutton United in 1985
Six years after making his last league appearance Snow joined Preston in August 1989. He made one league appearance in a 3-2 defeat at home to Bury on 26 August when he was replaced by Steve Harper. His final first team appearance for the Lilywhites came three days later in a 3-1 League Cup defeat at Tranmere.
He was an unused substitute in the 5-0 victory over Chester on 23 September which saw a hat-trick for Brian Mooney.
In 1990 Snow returned to the non-league with Leek Town.
