Plater Profile – Simon Snow

Simon Gordon Snow was born in Sheffield on 3 April 1966. He started his career with Scunthorpe as an apprentice, signing professional forms in August 1983. The forward made two appearances for the Irons in the 1982/83 and 1983/84 seasons before joining a number of non-league clubs.

The final one of these was Sutton Town before joining Preston in August 1989. He made one league appearance in a 3-2 defeat at home to Bury on 26 August when he was replaced by Steve Harper. His final first team appearance for the Lilywhites came three days later in a 3-1 League Cup defeat at Tranmere.

He was an unused substitute in the 5-0 victory over Chester on 23 September which saw a hat-trick for Brian Mooney.
