Luton have had a bright start to the season pushing in and around the chasing pack but two heavy defeats have seen them drop a little down the table but Preston should be aware that Luton will be a hard side to beat.
The Hatters were unlucky at Deepdale last season looking like taking a point until a flurry of goals late on saw Preston take an unfair 5-1 victory.
Preston have no won six home games on the bounce and are undefeated at Deepdale for over a year - only Chelsea holding a longer unbeaten home record.
Manager Simpson will be without Danny Dichio who faces a one match suspension. Nugent will most likely be paired with Agyemang who sat out Tuesday's win. Ormerod will maintain his place on the bench.
Barring any last minute injuries, Simpson will stay with the same defence and midfield that played against Leeds. Preston will be looking for a victory but will be wary of a fight from Luton whose pride has been wounded in recent games.
Preston will want to keep pressure on leaders Cardiff whilst trying to make a break away from the chasing pack as a third of the season approaches.
