Form: Preston North End: DWLWLL  Yeovil Town: WWLLLL

After two back-to-back 3-1 defeats, not to mention just two wins in their last six, Preston North End need to bounce back.

A 5-0 win over Hartlepool was how Graham Wesltey's men returned to winning ways but just three points would suffice as the Liywhites look to propel themselves back into the much coveted playoff places.

Saturday sees the visit of Yeovil Town, a team that enjoyed an unexpected but nonetheless bright start to the campaign.

But, after four defeats on the spin, the Glovers found themselves in the bottom half.

Thus, a team dismal run of form such as theirs could be considered the ideal candidate for the Lilywhites to face as they look to, without sounding too much like Alan Partridge, "bounce back".

The Somerset outfit have only mustered one goal in their last four games whilst shipping seven but have been able to notch up 3 away victories so far this campaign.

A win for North End could see them jump back into the playoff picture whilst putting daylight between them and their West Country counterparts.

The corresponding fixture last season was almost exactly a year ago give or take a week or so, the 9th September 2011 to be precise.

North End edged out Yeovil in a seven goal bonanza with all four of North End's goals came from players no longer with the club.

Jamie Proctor, Barry Nicholson and a Neil Mellor brace rounded up the scoring for the Lilywhites whilst in reply for Yeovil were Anthony Edgar and Steven MacLean with a brace of his own.

However, it was Yeovil who were the victors when Preston made the trip to Huish Park back in January.

Andy Williams netted either side of a Clark Carlisle goal resulting in a 2-1 win for the Glovers.

Summer acquisition Paul Huntington was sent off for Yeovil that afternoon.

Team News

North End's current crop of absentees will remain just that.

Keith Keane is close to a return but manager Graham Westley is prepared to be patient for the former Luton man.

For the visitors Rohan Ince has returned to his parent club Chelsea due to injury but Daniel Burn is set to make his debut on loan from Fulham.
