Only Manchester United have a longer record of not losing two games in a row than Preston. However, Preston's amazing run of results over the past twelve months will be put to the biggest test yet away at in form league leaders Birmingham City.
Paul Simpson has some tough decisions to make as the goals have dried up recently as well as costsly mistakes. Dichio and Ormerod will be knocking on the door for a start alongside Nugent with Agyemang not impressing over the past fortnight.
Fans will be hoping that Matt Hill can return at left back to release Danny Pugh from his defensive duties allowing him his usual and more effective left wing role.
On loan Tommy Miller maybe pushing for a start in midfield after playing the last two games out wide. Sedgewick has hit a poor run coinciding with the teams results and Simpson may look to change the midfield.
