Manager Brown showed his disappointment after the Carling Cup game against Notts County stating: "The dressing room was despondent and the Town End was too.
"Having kept a clean sheet, you’d have expected us to score. Gould had just one save to make in the game. We missed a hatful of chances that we had ourselves to blame.
"We are not too displeased with passing and play, but we didn’t convert our chances.
"The finishing left a bit to be desired. The best chance I thought was Tyrone Mears when Ricardo squared it for him and another game they go in.
Referring to the Fuller penalty miss, he said: " It’s ironic that probably the best striker of the ball around missed the penalty.
"I’ve never seen as many good kicks at one time. If you looked at his body language, he didn’t look too confident. When there’s action he’s at his best, but not in set piece situations.
"It’s good we go into a tricky fixture, I think we are capable of bouncing straight back."
