Craig Brown praised the 4500 fans that made the trip to Wigan on Saturday, claiming: "I am very disappointed for all of them, they were magnificent. They were behind us for the whole game and they deserved to be taking the three points back to Preston.
Yet again the game consisted of a dodgy referee and officials, and Michael Jackson was lucky to escape with a booking by the end of the game, after an ‘alleged’ elbow.
"I had words with Jacko at half time, I did consider subbing him, but I just told him not to get involved with every challenge and in some respects it would have been the perfect game to come on because they gave us an aerial bombardment" Brown said.
"I am pleased for Michael Keane, his form is good and he is picked on merit and he is channelling his aggression into the right areas.
The Boss said about the game: "It was like a cup tie, nobody could put their foot on the ball.
"What disappoints me most though is that we conceded a goal immediately after scoring, just like last week."
