A Review As The Hoops Come To Town

As Preston still search for new blood (it seems like I am saying this before every game) it appears that manager Simpson has no other new injury worries within the first team squad. Both Nugent and Alexander returned safely from their respective international camps although the latter will not figure this Saturday due to suspension.

Barring any signings before the weekend, Simpson is likely to stick with the same line up as the previous winning team at Wolves. Several players featured int he reserves in midweek to gain some match sharpness but the winning combination at Molineux means that the boss will stick with his hand.

North End will be looking for their first home win of the season to boost their position in the early league standings. With a tough cup match at Port Vale followed by the long trek to Southampton this could be the ideal opportunity to pick up three points.
