Derby County are facing a quick return to the Championship whilst Preston are fighting to stay in the Championship.
Derby defeated Sheffield Wednesday on penalties in the 3rd Round Replay on Tuesday night and Preston will be hoping that the home side have some heavy legs at Pride Park tomorrow.
Preston will meet some old faces with Eddie Lewis, on macken and Claude Davis set to feature although Mears is ruled out with inury. Derby are struggling to score and Preston will be hoping to keep the silly mistakes to a minimum.
The Preston line up is unpredictable at Preston. Chaplow was complaining of a hamstring strain coming off early against Stoke last week. Carter, Davidson and Nicholls have all failed to train due to Preston having to use plastic pitches because of the recent deluge.
Preston will be looking for a positive performance to head into a tough period in the league with point sbeing vital in the fight against relegation.
