Number one priority seemed to be David Nugent as usually and the party line was being towed as no definitive answer was given. It appears Shaw is on the one hand adamant that Nugent will stay throughout the transfre window but on the other hand if the right deal could be made then he would be off. Read into it what you want but referring back to similar situations with Healy, Fuller, Cresswell, Mears and Davis we may well be without Nugent come Februsry.
The second thing to come out of the meeting was the new stand. Still remaining after being closed almost three months ago Shaw announced nothing definite but there is to be expected movement in Janaury. No mention was made if the contract with the NHS had been tied down but construction will take ten months which seems excessive. Perhaps the movement of the new stand in Janaury will coincide with the sale of a key player - call me a cynic why don't you!
