Bailey Wright came into the side at right back whilst Keane was pushed into midfield as Preston looked to be solid more than anything away at a strong Bournemouth side.
The game was somewhat turned on its head before the half hour mark when Arter of Bournemouth was sent off leaving the home side to play just over an hour of the game with ten men.
Preston could not make the advantage count and the home side took the lead before half time when Elphick headed home from a cross leave Stuckmann stranded.
Sodje came on as a second half substitute and showed what he could do with fifteen minutes remaining. He powered home a header from Bailey Wright to give Pston the equaliser.
Some may say the Whites could have done more against ten men but the home side are a decent side and Preston are only just bringing a new side together and still lack someone in the attacking department as Sodje is only on a short term deal.
