The Robins finished top of League One last season whilst Preston had to settle for promotion through the play offs but Bristol City have found life difficult in the Championship flirting with the relegation zone.
The first half was fairly drab with neither keeper troubled. The second half was more lively with Pretson taking the lead through a Baker own goal before. The lead did not last long with Wilbraham equalising a matter of seconds later.
Former City player Greg Cunningham was the unlikely hero as he scored from a corner with ten minutes remaining. Preston widen the gap over the bottom four whilst remaining ten points behind Saturday's opponents, Ipswich, who sit in the play off places.
