Beckford's loan deal which saw him join Preston last year expired. Bolton have confirmed that the striker's contract will not be renewed and he is effectively a free agent.
Leeds have bene interested in taking back their former striker but it is understood that Preston have been in discussions over a permanent deal for the stiker which will hinge around his wages.
Grayson has also openly said that he wants to sign Paul Gallagher on a permanent deal as his loan expired. Gallagher will also be a free agent as his contract at Leicester is closely expiring.
Sam Johnstone is also expected to be made a permanent signing although Preston need to enter discussions with manchester United over the deal and pay a fee for the young goalkeeper.
