Billy Barr Appointed As Coach

Barr was a coach at Carlisle under Simpson and led the reserve side to the Pontins League title last season pipping North End for top spot. Barr replaces Julian Darby who is set to join Derby when a release date can be sorted out between the clubs.

Carlisle will receive compensation for Barr who joined as a player under Mervyn Day in 1997 and then went through the coaching ranks.
