At the end of last season it was anticipated by the former boss Simon Grayson that there would be six new arrivals before the close of the transfer deadline in August. Rudd and Harrop signed prior to Grayson's exit whilst Maguire and O'Connor joined after finishing off in Ireland.
Since Neil took charge, Mavididi has joined on loan whilst Fisher has signed. Defensive cover as well as bolstering the midfield was seen as a priority by Neil as well as shipping out some of the fringe players.
At present it is unclear whether tere will be any outgoings. May left earlier in the summer whilst Doyle was linked with a move away that hasn't materialised.
As May has left there is space for one incoming and Preston have been linked with a move for Bodin who is currently having an impressive start to the season at Bristol Rovers. Bodin has scored a number of goals this term but it is unclear as to whether any deal will come to fruition.
