Andy Boyle appears to be surplus to requirements and follows his fellow countryman, Kevin O'Connor, out on loan. Both have failed to impress in their time at Deepdale although they were both pressed into service during Preston's injury crisis last year.
Boyle will stay with Doncaster until the end of the season and given that Preston now have long term absentees back any chance of Boyle returning are slim as he moves down the pecking order.
