Brown Denies Striker Bids

The Jamaican internationals departure to Pompey has prompted rumours that Brown had lodged bids for two strikers although the Whites boss denies this.

"We have not made an approach for a player yet," he told the clubs official website on Monday.

"We are looking at players, and we have to get a priority before we make a move."

"The other strikers will get more opportunity, but we still think that four strikers is too thin for the season so we are actively looking to strengthen, but these guys deserve the opportunity as well."
