"The performance was solid and encouraging," Brown told the club's official website after the match.
"We're hard to beat and that's important. I think Ipswich will be 'the' team at the end of the season, so I suppose at the end of the day a home draw and a clean sheet is a good result.
"They've just come down from the Premiership and have a very strong squad in terms of players - in fact they have two strong squads because they've made eight changes since midweek.
"It was a fair draw and a hard game. I think from the spectators' point of view it was an exciting 0-0 game."
