Chilvers Signs On Bosman

Chilvers has been with Colchester through their recent success with back to back promotions and was offered a new two year deal at Edgar Road but decided to look elsewhere. Simpson then pounced to capture his man to add to the signings of St Ledger and Pugh.

Chilvers played his first game at centre half, completing the first half against Bamber Bridge alongside Youl Mawene. It remains to be seen with youngsters Wilson, St Ledger and Chilvers who will start the season alongside Mawene.
