Simon Grayson made it well known that he wanted to sign all three loan players who finished the season at Wembley with Preston. Beckford was the first to put pen to paper on a two year deal. The striker signs on a free after being released from Bolton and spending much of last season on loan at Preston.
It was thought that Leeds were an other interested party in the striker but he choose to cement his relationship with Grayson and he is hopeful of bagging a few in the Chamionship ext season.
Paul Gallagher also confirmed a two year deal with the delay being the fact that he ha smostly been out of the country since the play off final victory. Gallagher's contract at Leicester expired and after spening the past 18 months at Deedale it was just a question as to whether Preston could afford his wages.
Preston are still pursuing Samm Johnstone although no deal has been struct yet with Manchester United. It is believed that the Reds are waiting for the De Gea situation to resolve before confirming nay outgoing movement.
Two players have also turned down contracts to move to pastures new. Stuckmann who was Preston's longest serving player has moved to Doncaster and wrote an open letter thnaking the fans for his time at Preston.
Scott Laird has also left the club to team up with Jack King and Scott Wiseman at Scunthorpe in League One. The left back has been in and out of the side during the season with the highlight being his goal against United in the FA Cup.
The club has also confirmed that top scorer Joe Garner and youngster Alan Browne have agreed three year deals at the club.
