"We can look at that and had we gone in at half-time all square, then things might have been different," he said after the game at the JJB Stadium.
"But we went from our best performance of the season last week against Derby to our worst 45 minutes against Wigan and in the end I can have no complaints about the result.
"We were naive for Wigan's second goal and overall our passing and movement wasn't as crisp as it should be.
"We will take the good from last week and the bad from this and make sure that we come out stronger."
