Newly promoted Sheffield United are keen to sign the Reggae boy star and a fee just short of £2.5 million has bene proposed by the Yorkshire club which will see the central defender step upto the Premiership.
It has also bene revealed that full back Tyrome Mears has expressed an interest to leave the club after a successful season at Deepdale. His agent has had talks with the Deepdale board and a fee of £3 million has initially been agreed with Charlton for the young quickster to move to the capital.
