Turner was chased by Brown all summer before signing just before the start of the season. Ironically, it was Stuckmann who played for Preston in pre-season and wasn't initially signed who has now proved himself to be the better keeper.
Iain Turner has made some errors whilst keeping and the back four lacked any faith before he was injured with a broken tow. He was out for several weeks but could not replace Stuckmann once he regained fitness.
The Scot is expected to sign for Dunfermline until the end of the season when it is likely that he may leave Preston altogether as a clause was put in his contract allowing him to leave Deepdale after 12 months if things failed to work out.
