Fuller Completes Pompey Switch

Pompey pulled out of the proposed £1.5million signing of the Jamaican international on medical grounds last month but have now taken the player on a two year pay-as-you-play contract.

"It was one of the hardest things I had to do a month ago when I told Ricardo the medical diagnosis and though he was extremely disappointed he was a real gentleman," Pompey chief executive Peter Storrie told his club's official website.

"I have been going hammer and tongs at this deal until past midnight and, along with the backroom staff, have worked hard to pull this off."
