Preston annually play a top flight side at home on the final weekend before the season with Blackburn and Manchester United travelling to Deepdale in recent seasons. It wa shoped that Everton would fill the gap this year but due to an overseas tour the Toffees arrive at Deepdale in the middle of pre-season.
Preston have yet to finalise a possible tour to Scotland but have confirmed several dates in what appears to be a busy pre-season. The club start with a training camp in Austria where there is a possibility of two matches followed by the following:
Bamber Bridge (a) 15 July 7pm
Chorley (a) 15 July 7pm
Morecambe (a) 19 July 3pm
Everton (h) 22 July 7.45pm
Carlisle (a) 26 July 3pm
Crewe (a) 2 August 3pm
