It was rumoured that Rangers were interested in the striker but a bid has now been tabled. Preston have not accepted the bid but have left the decision with Garner as to whether he wishes to move.
The club want a swift resolution to the matter but presumably if Garner wishes to leave then Preston will simply accept the offer and reinvest the money in additional players.
Garner has been poor at this level historically both for Preston and Watford so it might be in both the club and player's interest to move on.
