Gerrard Set To Start

Gerrard whose participation was in doubt due to his arrest earlier in the week is set to captain the side according to sources in the national media. The Liverpool captain was arrested earlier in the week due to an altercation in a Southport night club.

He has been released on bail and can play if selected by boss Benitez and it is thought he is in the right mindset to play some part at Deepdale tomorrow.
