The forgotten man of the Preston midfield, Liam Grimshaw, has joined Chesterfield on loan. It is 12 months since Grayson signed the injured midfielder and he has failed to recover from the day he signed.
We were told that the injury was minor and Grimshaw would join first team activities shortly after signing. This never materilaised and it was the summer when he really joined in with the pre-season training.
Grimshaw was thrust into an uncomfortable right back role due to injuries and has never recovered. He hasn't been given a chance in midfield due to performances from others and his time at Preston may now be up.
