There was good news ont he injury front as Lewis Neal is now back int raining with Mckenna and Whaley both expected to be fit for the match at Leeds.
Simpson has been assessing the injury front with the transfer deadline this Thursday being the last chance to bring anyone in for the final push. He will also be hoping that Nugent will come back from Andorra in time from the midweek game to play a full part in Preston's Friday night clash at Leeds. There is not much breathing space with so many games coming in such a short space of time although Nugent is not expected to start this Saturday if he plays against Andorra he will be playing three games within seven days with Preston set to play away at Leeds and QPR in quick succession.
