The young striker had joined before the loan deadline for a month due to Preston's striker shortage but just two weeks in he has returned back to the North East with personal reasons being cited. It is understood that the youngster was homesick.
Preston have confirmed that they will be going intot he market in January to bolster their options mainly up front and it is possible that they could go back for Callum Robinson who has not featured since returning to Aston Villa a few short weeks ago.
