Craig Brown rallies back at comments made by loyal winger Cartwright saying:"I want you in my squad".
The manager confessed that he still has Lee Cartwright in his plans, despite comments made from the winger that he is going to start looking elsewhere for a full team place.
The winger said last week:"If I don't get a shout soon then I don't think I have any alternative but to see if I can go to another club for a month or two.
"I'm almost 31 and at my age I need to be playing first team football. I can't afford to be kicking around in the reserves."
But the manager bounced back from this comment, claaiming the winger is very much in his plans. He said: " I can understand Lee's frustration - I feel frustrated for him!
"I want him to stay here as a member of the squad. He's certainly in our plans.
"We all know what Lee can do wide on the right in a 4-4-2 system. He's good in that position.
"We started to play with only one man out in the wide area.
"And we have selected Eddie Lewis to fill that position.
"But that doesn't mean to say Lee is surplus to requirements. That's not the case at all.
"But I have said that if he continues to feel frustrated and we find we aren't using him then if he can get a loan deal then we would consider that."
