North End have the best defensive record in the division after playing four league games without conceding but conversely they have only found the net once with an absolute belter from Brad Potts at Luton.
The game against Rotherham was entertaining and chances were created in abundance. Johnson was played in by Parrott early on but slid his shot wide of the post. An early goal may have opened the floodgates but instead Preston struggled.
Parrott played well and had two shots at goal blocked. At present he just can't see to find that end product but is getting in all of the right positions. Once he scores one it is hoped a bucket load may follow.
Rotherham also had chances in the first half putting one just past the post but the second half was all the home team with Preston dominant in possession and chances.
The woodwork was hit and shots came in from all angles but somehow the visitors managed to keep a clean sheet as the game ended goalless. Preston therefore remain unbeaten.
North End face Watford this weekend which will be ther toughest test so far. If Preston are to challenge towards the top end of the table then they will need to start finishing off the chances.
