Injury Comebacks

The good news was that Neil Mellor completed another 90 minutes and is raring to go looking to get into the first team squad. He was partnered up front with Andy Smith who lasted for 70 minutes before he was replaced by Adam Nowland who played the final half hour - his first action since January.

Callum Davidson managed 70 minutes at centre back with trialist Zaaboub at left back. Ormerod also played 45 minutes and it now seems that the North End injury list could be shortened over the coming weeks with Mawene now the only player not to have had some match action recently.
