As rumoured before on this site, Brighton keeper Wayne Henderson signed for the Whites in a deal worth £150,000. Henderson is expected to be used as back up although Carlo Nash is still presently at the club with hours left before the deadline.
Seyfo Soley who was on trial at Deepdale a couple of weeks ago has also signed from Belgian club Ghenk. The fee is undisclosed for the Gambiam international centre back who will go straight into the squad for Saturday's game.
There was one outgoing and that was Andy Smith who has not played a first team game at Deepdale in over twelve months. His contract was terminated by the club.
