Chilvers is thought to be aiming for a return to the first team around November after rupturing his achilles tendon whilst Trotman is undergoing an operation on a hernia which will keep him out of the season opener.
Irvine only has St Ledger and Mawene although Jones can fill in if needed. Kennedy himself has only just returned from injury last season after long standing knee trouble. Celtic wish to loan out Kennedy to allow him the chance to play first team football and gain fitness.
