The future for Jordan Storey is unclear. Whilst he has a long term deal at Preston he has fallen down the pecking order and has not made an impact in recent times.
Storey has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season for more game time. The defender has failed to nail down a permanent spot in his time at Deepdale.
Signed by Alex Neil he was once openly criticised towards the end of Neil's reign. He has had spells within the side but he has never managed to retain a long term spot in the team.
In recent times Preston have played three centre backs but even with this system Storey has not been favoured. Hughes or Cunningham have been preferred as the third centre back.
The future is unclear but a spell on loan might rejuvenate a career which has stalled at Preston.
