Keeper Injury Worries

The youngster was on trial only days before at Oldham with a view to a loan move at the start of the season but manager Simpson revealed that after the weekend game at Kilmarnock both Nash and Lonergan came to training with slight knee injuries.

It is reported that both are expected to be fully fit in the next few days but Simpson did not wish to take any risks last night so recalled Neal to play the ninety minutes. The loan deal is likely to be confirmed next week so that Neal can start the season at Oldham.
