Kelham O’Hanlon has been made redundant for the second time in four months, stating “I must have been a bad man in previous life to deserve this.”
Ex assistant manager O’Hanlon has been sacked, alongside manager Ray Mathias, in an attempt to stop their dreadful start to the season.
He described it himself as a “knee jerk” decision after the fans had got on their backs after the the home defeat against Wrexham.
The ex PNE goalkeeper said: “I’m beginning to wonder about football. But what can you do when things just aren’t in your hands?
“I’m more sorry for Ray than I am for myself. He has been at the club for 35 years or so. I’m upset for him.
“I don’t know what’s next. It has all come about quickly and I haven’t considered what I’m doing next.”
