It is reported that 25 year old midfielder, Kerr from Dundee United is set to be a target of Irvine's A host of other clubs are said to be interested and the player himself has yet to sign a new contract at Dundee United.

Irvine has not denied the rumour unlike earlier in the week when he went flat out to say Preston would not be signing a potential striker from Celtic.
